Hi there, and welcome! My name is Cris, and I'm the Rocky Mountain Oenophile. 

​

I'm an adult education and wine educator, a writer, and a travel-obsessed Marine Corps Veteran living my best life in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I currently hold a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, earned with Distinction, from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. I also have a Master of Education in adult education, and a Bachelor of Arts in English writing. Basically, I'm an adult educator, writer, and certified wine lover - the prefect combination to teach you about wine or lead a fun, yet educational, wine tasting or wine event!

When I'm not drinking wine, writing about it, or posting about it on social media, you'll find me outdoors in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado! Although a Californian born and bred (go SF Giants!), with a stint in Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner, go OU!), it's Colorado living for me. Most weekends I'm out hiking, camping, hunting, skiing, or adventuring...and of course always apres-ing with great wine! Of course, I never let the moss grow beneath my feet either so if I'm not in Colorado I'm out exploring the world. Life is too short not to live it to the fullest.
